Eunice, LA 70535This Cajun fiddle method starts with the basics and shows you how to play melodies based on reference notes and chord shapes. It teaches you how to play in all key positions in the Cajun style on a standard tuned fiddle, no need to change fiddles when the accordion player changes accordions. After learning the basics, some simple seconding and a few melodies, you will be ready to learn the styles of some of the great Cajun fiddlers like Wade Frugé, Dennis McGee, and many others.
What's In This Volume
Following a brief introduction, each song is played in two positions, first in the position that would be used to play with a "C" accordion and then in the position that would be used to play with a "D" accordion. Each song is played at normal speed and then at half speed.
